🚗 Section 59 – Registration of Vehicles Brought from Outside India

(विदेश से लाए गए वाहन का पंजीकरण)

📜 Section 59 का उद्देश्य

Section 59 यह सुनिश्चित करता है कि:

✔️ यदि कोई वाहन विदेश से import किया गया है,
तो उसे India में legal registration मिले।

उद्देश्य: Imported vehicles का legal recognition, taxation और road compliance सुनिश्चित करना।

🔶 Section 59 – मुख्य प्रावधान

📌 1. कब लागू होता है?

• Vehicle imported from another country
• Personal या commercial use के लिए India में लाया गया

📌 2. Registration Procedure for Imported Vehicles

• Owner को RTO / Registering Authority में apply करना होगा
• Required documents:
  • Customs clearance certificate
  • Bill of Entry / Invoice
  • Identity proof और Address proof
  • Insurance certificate
  • Applicable fees and taxes (road tax, import duty)
• Authority verification के बाद RC issue किया जाएगा
• Vehicle पर Registration Number Plate mandatory होगा

📌 3. Temporary Registration

• Imported vehicle को temporary registration दी जा सकती है
• Permanent RC issue होने तक TR number plate लगाना अनिवार्य

📌 4. Legal Effect

• Registered imported vehicle India में legally operable होगा
• Traffic fines, insurance, taxation और liability RC के अनुसार applicable होंगे

📌 5. Digital / Online Process

• Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 2019 के बाद:
  • Online RC issuance via Parivahan portal possible
  • Faster verification, fraud prevention और transparency
