🚗 Section 64 – Temporary Registration of New Vehicles

(नए वाहनों के लिए अस्थायी पंजीकरण का प्रावधान)

📜 Section 64 का उद्देश्य

Section 64 यह सुनिश्चित करता है कि:

✔️ नए खरीदे गए वाहन के लिए permanent RC मिलने तक temporary registration दी जा सके।
✔️ Vehicle road पर legal रूप से चल सके।

उद्देश्य: New vehicles के लिए immediate legal use और road safety सुनिश्चित करना।

🔶 Section 64 – मुख्य प्रावधान

📌 1. कब लागू होता है?

• New vehicles purchase होने के बाद permanent RC issue होने से पहले
• Dealers / Manufacturers द्वारा vehicles delivery के समय

📌 2. Temporary Registration Procedure

• Dealer / Owner को Registering Authority / RTO में apply करना होगा
• Required documents:
  • Vehicle invoice / sales certificate
  • Identity proof और Address proof
  • Insurance certificate (if applicable)
  • Applicable fee
• Authority verification के बाद Temporary RC और temporary registration number issue करेगी

📌 3. Validity

• Temporary registration की validity आमतौर पर 1–3 महीने (state rules अनुसार)
• Expiry के बाद Permanent RC लेना अनिवार्य

📌 4. Legal Effect

• Temporary RC legal proof है कि vehicle roadworthy है
• Traffic fines, insurance, taxation और liability temporary RC के अनुसार valid

📌 5. Digital / Online Process

• Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 2019 के बाद:
  • Online temporary registration via Parivahan portal
  • Verification fast और transparent
  • Dealers और owners के लिए convenience
