📜 Section 27 का उद्देश्य
Section 27 यह सुनिश्चित करता है कि:
- Driving Licence पर सही Vehicle Category और Endorsements अंकित हों।
- केवल वही व्यक्ति उस category का वाहन चला सके जिसके लिए licence वैध है।
- Traffic safety और legal compliance सुनिश्चित हो।
यह section Section 14–26 को supplement करता है और categorization को enforce करता है।
🔶 Section 27 – मुख्य प्रावधान
📌 1. Vehicle Categories
Licence पर vehicle categories की जानकारी mandatory:

| LMV | Light Motor Vehicle (Car, Jeep, Van) |
| HMV | Heavy Motor Vehicle (Bus, Truck, Trailer) |
| MCWG | Motor Cycle With Gear |
| MCWOG | Motor Cycle Without Gear |
| Transport Vehicle | Commercial vehicles (Taxi, Bus, Truck) |
Licence holder केवल वही vehicle चला सकता है जिसकी category licence पर mention हो।
📌 2. Endorsements
- Special skills, permissions या restrictions को licence में endorsements के रूप में अंकित किया जाता है।
- उदाहरण:
- Hazardous material transport (HMV)
- Driving school instructor
- Transport vehicle carrying passengers
- International Driving Permit eligibility
- Endorsement बिना licence invalid माना जा सकता है।
📌 3. Upgradation / Addition
- Driver नए vehicle type के लिए RTO में application देकर endorsement add कर सकता है।
- Required documents:
- Driving test for new category
- Age / Fitness certificate
- Fee payment
