📜 Section 78 का उद्देश्य

Section 78 यह सुनिश्चित करता है कि:

✔️ Goods Carriage Permit की validity / duration तय हो।
✔️ Permit की अवधि खत्म होने से पहले renewal संभव हो, ताकि vehicle illegal न हो।

मतलब: Permit holder को समय पर renewal करना जरूरी है, अन्यथा goods vehicle सड़क पर operate नहीं कर सकता।

🔶 Section 78 – मुख्य प्रावधान

📌 1️⃣ Duration (Validity)

• Permit आमतौर पर 1–5 साल तक valid होता है
• Vehicle type, route और state rules के अनुसार अलग हो सकता है
• Special goods (hazardous / over-dimensional) के लिए अलग duration

📌 2️⃣ Renewal Procedure

• Permit holder को expiry से पहले renewal application देना होगा
• Renewal के लिए आवश्यक documents:
  • Previous permit copy
  • Vehicle fitness certificate
  • Goods insurance certificate
  • Applicable fee
• RTA / STA verification के बाद renewal किया जाता है

📌 3️⃣ Expired Permit के प्रभाव

• Expired permit वाले goods vehicle को illegal माना जाएगा
• ❌ Heavy fines / penalties
• 🚔 Vehicle seizure का risk
