🚗 Section 65 – Assignment of Special / Fancy Registration Numbers

(विशेष / Fancy नंबर प्लेट के आवंटन का प्रावधान)

📜 Section 65 का उद्देश्य

Section 65 यह सुनिश्चित करता है कि:

✔️ Vehicle owners को special / fancy registration numbers (जैसे 1111, 9999, VIP series) legal तरीके से assign किए जा सकें।
✔️ यह सुविधा state governments / RTOs के नियमानुसार और transparent तरीके से हो।

उद्देश्य: Vehicle registration में choice, transparency और additional revenue generate करना।

🔶 Section 65 – मुख्य प्रावधान

📌 1. Special / Fancy Numbers क्या हैं?

• Repeated digits (e.g., 1111, 2222)
• Sequential numbers (e.g., 1234, 5678)
• VIP / government reserved series (e.g., “GJ 01 VIP 001”)

📌 2. Allocation Procedure

• Owner को RTO / Registering Authority में apply करना होगा
• Required documents:
  • Identity proof और Address proof
  • Vehicle RC / Temporary RC
  • Applicable fee (premium charges may apply)
• Authority auction / lottery / first-come-first-serve के आधार पर number allocate करती है

📌 3. Legal Effect

• Special / Fancy number legally binding और RC में recorded होगा
• Traffic fines, insurance, taxation सभी assigned number के अनुसार valid होंगे
• Unauthorized copying / duplication पर penalty

📌 4. Digital / Online Process

• Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 2019 के बाद:
  • Fancy number booking और payment online via Parivahan portal
  • Transparency और fraud-proof allocation
