📜 Section 114 का उद्देश्य
Section 114 यह सुनिश्चित करता है कि:
✔️ Drivers alcohol, drugs या intoxicating substances के प्रभाव में वाहन न चलाएँ।
✔️ Drunken driving और impaired driving से होने वाले accidents और fatalities को रोका जा सके।
मतलब: Driver intoxicated होने पर legally वाहन operate नहीं कर सकता।
🔶 Section 114 – मुख्य प्रावधान
📌 1️⃣ Applicability
- सभी motor vehicles – passenger, goods, public service और hazardous goods vehicles
📌 2️⃣ Permissible Limits
- Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) limit define (जैसे 0.03% – 0.05% depending on state rules)
- Drugs / intoxicating substances के लिए zero tolerance या defined limits
📌 3️⃣ Enforcement
- Random breath tests, roadside checks और police monitoring
- Driver fail होने पर immediate vehicle immobilization और arrest
- License suspension, fine और imprisonment possible

- Vehicle owner भी liable हो सकता है यदि knowingly allow किया
