यह Chapter road accident victims को compensation दिलाने के लिए बना है। इसमें बताया गया है कि accident होने के बाद victim या उसके परिवार को पैसे (compensation) कैसे मिलेंगे और कौन decide करेगा।

• MACT (Motor Accident Claims Tribunal) – accident compensation decide करने वाली special court
• Claim filing process – compensation का case कैसे file होता है
• Compensation rules – कितना और किस basis पर पैसा मिलेगा

🔹 MACT क्या होता है? (Simple Language)

MACT एक special tribunal/court होता है जो सिर्फ road accident compensation cases सुनता है।

• Accident में injured person
• Accident में death होने पर family
• Property damage होने पर owner
  → ये लोग MACT में compensation claim कर सकते हैं।

Law के हिसाब से MACT decide करता है:

• Accident किसकी गलती से हुआ
• Insurance company pay करेगी या driver/owner
• Victim को कितना compensation मिलेगा

👉 Compensation injury, disability, death या property damage के cases में मिल सकता है।

🔹 Compensation Case Filing – Basic Idea

Accident के बाद generally ये steps होते हैं:

• FIR और police report
• Medical bills, hospital record
• Insurance details
• Driver/owner details

फिर tribunal:

• Notice भेजता है driver, owner, insurance को
• Evidence देखता है (witness, documents)
• Final compensation award देता है

और अक्सर payment insurance company देती है।
