Mukul Roy, Former Union Railway Minister, Passes Away After Prolonged Illness
Veteran politician and former Union Railway Minister Mukul Roy passed away in the early hours of the morning following a prolonged illness. He breathed his last at approximately 1:30 a.m. at a private hospital, according to his son, Subhranshu Roy.
Speaking to reporters, Subhranshu Roy said that his father had been in a coma for the last several days before his condition deteriorated further.

Mukul Roy was a prominent figure in West Bengal politics and played a crucial role in shaping regional and national political strategies over the past decade. He began his political journey with the All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) and later held important responsibilities at the national level.
