🚦 Section 16 – Renewal of Heavy Motor Vehicle Licence (HMV)

📜 Section 16 का उद्देश्य
Section 16 यह सुनिश्चित करता है कि:
- Expired Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Licence को नवीनीकृत किया जा सके।
- Commercial और heavy vehicles केवल योग्य और fit drivers द्वारा ही चलाए जाएं।
- Road safety और legal compliance बनी रहे।
बिना valid HMV licence के heavy vehicles चलाना कानूनी अपराध है।
🔶 Section 16 – मुख्य प्रावधान
📌 1. Renewal के लिए आवेदन
- Licence holder को expiry से पहले या expiry के 30 दिन के भीतर renewal के लिए आवेदन करना होगा।
- आवेदन Form + Fee + दस्तावेज़ के साथ RTO / DTO में जमा करना होगा।
📌 2. आवश्यक दस्तावेज़
- Expired / expiring HMV Driving Licence
- Age proof / Identity proof
- Medical fitness certificate (Commercial vehicles के लिए अनिवार्य)
- Passport size photograph
- Renewal fee
📌 3. Renewal की Validity
- Renewed HMV Licence सामान्यतः 5–20 साल या Government rules के अनुसार valid होता है।
- Digital Licence / DigiLocker आज मान्य है।
🔶 Section 16(2) – Conditions for Renewal
- Renewal केवल तभी किया जाएगा जब:
- Licence holder fit to drive हो
- कोई major traffic violations record में न हों
- सभी documents सही और verified हों
