📜 Section 22 का उद्देश्य
Section 22 यह सुनिश्चित करता है कि:
- Learner Licence की validity और extension की स्पष्ट समयसीमा हो।
- Learner Licence holders को पर्याप्त समय मिले driving practice और permanent licence के लिए तैयारी करने का।
- Road safety बनी रहे और unauthorized driving रोकी जाए।
Learner Licence केवल practice और preparation के लिए valid होता है, permanent licence का अधिकार नहीं देता।
🔶 Section 22 – मुख्य प्रावधान
📌 1. Validity of Learner Licence
- सामान्यतः 6 महीने तक वैध।
- Vehicle type के अनुसार expiry period अलग हो सकता है।
- Validity के दौरान learner driver को experienced driver / instructor के supervision में ही वाहन चलाना अनिवार्य।
📌 2. Extension of Learner Licence
- यदि learner licence holder 6 महीने के भीतर permanent licence नहीं ले पाया, तो extension के लिए आवेदन कर सकता है।
- Maximum extension: additional 6 महीने (state rules के अनुसार)।
- Extension के लिए RTO / DTO में आवेदन + fee + documents आवश्यक।
📌 3. Conditions
- Supervision by qualified driver / instructor अनिवार्य।
- Traffic rules और safety guidelines strictly follow करनी होंगी।
- Expired learner licence के साथ driving illegal।
