📜 Section 24 का उद्देश्य
Section 24 यह सुनिश्चित करता है कि:
- Transport Vehicles (Bus, Truck, Taxi आदि) चलाने वाले drivers के लिए additional conditions और restrictions लागू हों।
- केवल योग्य और सक्षम व्यक्ति commercial vehicles चला सके।
- Road safety, passenger safety और accident prevention सुनिश्चित हो।
यह section Section 14 / 15 को supplement करता है, ताकि commercial driving stricter और safer हो।
🔶 Section 24 – मुख्य प्रावधान
📌 1. Additional Conditions for Transport Vehicle Licence
- Driver के पास valid HMV / Transport Licence होना चाहिए।
- Medical fitness certificate हर 2–3 साल में mandatory।
- Maximum driving hours / weekly limits maintain करना।
- Overloading और passenger limit strictly forbidden।
- Vehicle के type और route के अनुसार licence valid।
📌 2. Supervision & Training
- New Transport Vehicle Licence holders को initial training mandatory।
- Probation period में senior driver / instructor supervision आवश्यक।
📌 3. Renewal & Periodic Checks
- Licence holder का record और health certificate periodically RTO को submit करना।
- Violation history / accidents पर licence suspension / cancellation possible।
