📜 Section 26 का उद्देश्य
Section 26 यह सुनिश्चित करता है कि:
- Two-Wheelers (Bike, Scooter, Moped आदि) चलाने वाले drivers सुरक्षित और responsible हों।
- Learner Licence और Permanent Licence holders के लिए extra safety rules लागू हों।
- Road accidents और helmet / speed violations को कम किया जा सके।
यह section LMV / HMV के rules के supplement के रूप में दो-पहिया वाहनों के लिए लागू होता है।
🔶 Section 26 – मुख्य प्रावधान
📌 1. Eligibility & Conditions
- Driver के पास valid Two-Wheeler / LMV Licence होना चाहिए।
- Minimum age: 16–18 वर्ष (Moped / Scooter – state rules अनुसार)।
- Learner Licence के समय experienced driver supervision जरूरी।
- Driving केवल vehicle category के अनुसार ही allowed।
📌 2. Safety Rules
- Helmet पहनना mandatory।
- Over-speeding, rash / negligent driving पर strict penalty।
- Night driving और fatigue driving के लिए guidelines।
- Carrying passenger / load limits का पालन।
📌 3. Renewal & Periodic Checks
- Licence record RTO / DTO में periodically update करना।
- Medical certificate optional, लेकिन recommended older riders (>50 years)।
