☣️ Section 82 – Special Provisions for Hazardous Goods Vehicles

📜 Section 82 का उद्देश्य
Section 82 यह सुनिश्चित करता है कि:
✔️ Hazardous Goods Vehicles (HGVs), यानी chemical, inflammable, explosive या अन्य dangerous goods वाले vehicles,
✔️ केवल special permit और strict regulations के तहत operate करें।
मतलब: खतरनाक सामान transport करते समय public safety, environment और accident prevention सुनिश्चित करना।
🔶 Section 82 – मुख्य प्रावधान
📌 1️⃣ Hazardous Goods Vehicles की परिभाषा
- Vehicles जो explosives, inflammable liquids, toxic chemicals, radioactive materials या कोई dangerous goods transport करते हैं
- Examples:
- Tankers carrying petrol / diesel / LPG
- Trucks carrying chemicals / hazardous materials
📌 2️⃣ Permit Requirements
- Hazardous Goods Vehicle special permit के बिना operate नहीं कर सकता
- Permit में शामिल होते हैं:
- Vehicle registration number
- Type और quantity of hazardous goods
- Route और timing restrictions
- Safety measures and equipment
- Validity period
📌 3️⃣ Authority Control
- RTA / STA तय करती है:
- Approved routes for hazardous transport
- Maximum allowed quantity
- Safety compliance inspections
- Emergency response measures
📌 4️⃣ Safety और Compliance
- Fire extinguishers और safety equipment mandatory
- Vehicle inspection और certification जरूरी
- Driver को hazardous goods handling की training होना चाहिए
- Violation पर penalty, suspension, or cancellation
