📂 Section 84 – Maintenance of Records and Inspection
(वाहनों के रिकार्ड और निरीक्षण का प्रावधान)
📜 Section 84 का उद्देश्य
Section 84 यह सुनिश्चित करता है कि:
✔️ Transport vehicles के permits, operations और compliance का proper record रखा जाए।
✔️ RTA / STA और authorized officers को inspection और verification का अधिकार हो।
मतलब: Vehicle operation transparent और accountable बने, और नियमों का पालन सुनिश्चित हो।
🔶 Section 84 – मुख्य प्रावधान
📌 1️⃣ Record Maintenance
- Vehicle owner / operator को रखनी होंगी records जैसे:
- Permit copy और renewal details
- Route और passenger / goods details
- Driver और conductor की details
- Accident या violation history
- Vehicle fitness certificate और insurance
- Records prescribed period तक सुरक्षित रखना अनिवार्य
📌 2️⃣ Inspection Rights
- RTA / STA या authorized officer को अधिकार:
- Vehicle और documents inspect करने का
- Route adherence, capacity और safety compliance check करने का
- Overloading, illegal operation या violation detect करने का
📌 3️⃣ Compliance Enforcement
- Inspection में violation पाए जाने पर:
- Warning / Penalty / Fine
- Permit suspension या cancellation
- Legal action as per Motor Vehicles Act
